Alex Grooscors and his wife Diane Dumas had always dreamed of owning and operating their own business. They were convinced that their combined passions, experience and skills would enable them to succeed as business owners and partners in the often-challenging retail world.
After a few years of planning, hard work and a lot of creative thinking, they opened their first specialty Latin-American furniture and accessories store in Canada in June of 1999.
